What does the $300 minimum include?
The $300 minimum event charge includes the standard candle-making experience for up to 6 participants. Each additional candle-making participant above the included six is $30.
What does each participant make?
Each participating guest creates one 8 oz Wickid candle, selects from the event's curated fragrance selection and customizes a blank candle label during the guided experience.
How do food and beverage enhancements work?
Candle making is the core Workshop product. Wine & charcuterie enhancements start at $10 additional per participant. Appetizers, catering and other enhancements may also be discussed. Final pricing depends on the group, venue, menu, catering requirements and event needs; alcohol is not included in the standard $300 Workshop.
What payment reserves the event?
Events at the $300 minimum require payment in full to reserve the event. Events above the $300 minimum require a 50% nonrefundable booking deposit. The remaining balance is due no later than the conclusion of the event, though customers may pay earlier. Approved additional participants and event-day additions are added to the final balance.
What happens if the headcount changes?
The confirmed booking establishes the minimum financial commitment. If fewer guests attend, the price is not reduced and unused committed participant spots are not refunded. Where operationally appropriate, available prepaid participant materials may be used by attendees to create additional candles. Additional guests may be accommodated subject to supplies, venue capacity, staffing and event logistics; unlimited last-minute additions are not guaranteed.
Can an event be rescheduled?
Deposits are generally nonrefundable. Wickid may approve transferring payments or deposits to a rescheduled event on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and approval.
Does Wickid provide the venue, tables or chairs?
Wickid does not currently operate a dedicated event venue. Hosts may provide an appropriate venue with tables and seating, or Wickid can help identify or coordinate a suitable location. Venue rental, tables and chairs are not included in the core Workshop price.
Is travel included?
Local travel is included for qualifying events. Additional travel fees may apply based on event location, group size and event requirements.
